NOPHOTO (2005 – 2014)

Marta Soul was a founding member of NOPHOTO in 2005, an agency/collective incorporating thirteen more photographers. Based in Madrid, and later also in Wuhan (China), Nophoto runs different creation projects in relation with photography, always resulting from collaborative reflection as well as the interaction of converging artistic processes.

NOPHOTO was awarded the PhotoEspaña Discovery Prize in 2006. This prize included the exhibition and publication of Muta Matadero x NOPHOTO in 2007.

NOPHOTO has also organised and curated a number of exhibitions shown in a range of European, Asian and Latin American cities. It has received grants and awards from Spanish funds like La Caixa Foundation or VEGAP.

La Fabrica published a book covering the work of NoPhoto collective within the prestigious collection PhotoBolsillo. NOPHOTO also acts as book publisher.
